About The Position

Vermont Hard Cider Co., d.b.a. Green Mountain Beverage, is seeking a hands-on Weekend Shift Production Supervisor to lead our weekend production team. This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys developing employees, driving results, solving problems, and keeping production operations running safely and efficiently. You'll lead weekend packaging operations while partnering with Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Operations teams to deliver strong performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, food and beverage, CPG, or other regulated manufacturing environments
Previous supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience
Strong floor presence and the ability to lead by example
Confident decision-making in a fast-paced production environment
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage safety, quality, staffing, productivity, and operational priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

Lead production employees and temporary workers through coaching, accountability, and clear communication
Drive safety, quality, productivity, food safety, and operational performance
Oversee canning, kegging, and variety pack production activities
Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Coordinate staffing, production priorities, shift handoffs, and reporting
Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues in real time
Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain production flow
Support training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives
