About The Position

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Weekend Night Shift. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating teams in manufacturing areas to meet production schedules and achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team objectives. The supervisor will mentor and develop staff, ensure policies and procedures are followed, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. This position supports the Weekend Night Shift, operating from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of two (2) years’ experience or equivalent experience in a production environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of production systems and techniques.
Ability to understand and use work planning skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with machine shop, stamping, assembly, or plastic injection molding environments.

Responsibilities

Leading and coordinating teams in manufacturing areas to meet production schedules and required safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team objectives.
Orienting, training/developing, motivating, counseling, and assisting team members in work instructions, production standards, balanced flow of work, and problem resolution.
Performing all related supervisory and human resource functions, including work assignments, attendance documentation, incident reports, and performance evaluations/counseling.
Assisting in production scheduling/planning, quality, material flow, and equipment maintenance.
Auditing quality and safety reports and processes to determine the cause of issues/problems and ensuring necessary corrections are performed to maintain standards.
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships within a team environment.
Assigning work and special projects to team members to develop work experience and flexibility.
Requisitioning resources (supplies, tools, etc.) and expediting as required.
Acting as backup for all team members.
Contributing to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall goals.
Performing other duties and projects as determined by production and business needs.
