About The Position

Master Security is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Weekend Security Officers in Manassas, VA. This role is crucial for safeguarding client assets, property, and personnel. The position requires individuals who are reliable, possess strong communication skills, and can effectively respond to emergencies. Officers will be responsible for maintaining logs, documenting incidents, conducting patrols, and enforcing customer rules professionally. This is a part-time position with specific weekend shifts available.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement of 18 years
Legal work status in the US
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a drug screening
Reliable and functional transportation (Public transportation is not acceptable)
Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors
Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
Must Have an Active DCJS License
Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting
Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)
Possession of a VALID full driver’s license (public transportation is not acceptable)
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills

Responsibilities

Maintain a daily log of all activities during your assigned shift at your assigned post
Document all incidents occurring during your assigned shift in a detailed incident report
Conduct walking/vehicular patrols throughout your shift
Enforce customer rules in a professional and courteous manner
Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post
Ability to interact and communicate with the public
Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively
Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical issues and respond appropriately
