About The Position

Master Security is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Hotel Security Officers. The role involves maintaining a daily log of activities, documenting incidents, conducting patrols, and enforcing customer rules professionally. Officers are expected to arrive on time and in proper uniform. The position requires the ability to interact with the public, assess emergencies, and respond appropriately. Master Security is committed to providing clients with qualified personnel to safeguard assets, property, and personnel.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement of 18 years
Legal work status in the US
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a drug screening
Reliable and functional transportation (Public transportation is not acceptable)
Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors
Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
Ability to obtain an MD Guard Card
Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting
Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)
Possession of a VALID full driver’s license
MARYLAND GUARD CARD--ACTIVE STATUS
ACTIVE FULL DRIVERS LICENSE

Responsibilities

Maintain a daily log of all activities during your assigned shift at your assigned post
Document all incidents occurring during your assigned shift in a detailed incident report
Conduct walking/vehicular patrols throughout your shift
Enforce customer rules in a professional and courteous manner
Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post
Ability to interact and communicate with the public
Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively
Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical issues and respond appropriately
