About The Position

Marvin Windows is seeking a Weekend Production Shift Manager to lead and develop production teams at its Kansas City, Kansas location. The role drives operational excellence by ensuring performance goals for safety, quality, productivity, and delivery are achieved. As a hands-on leader, the manager coaches, mentors, and develops production leaders at all levels while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The work schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to business results and team development. Compensation is $76,000–$90,000 annually.

Requirements

At least 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
Strong leadership competencies, including relationship building, alignment, developing others, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience with lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Lead and support production operations, providing employees and supervisors with the resources, guidance, and accountability needed to meet operational goals.
Manage supervisor performance through regular feedback, development planning, and alignment with departmental objectives and business priorities.
Optimize workflow, workforce utilization, and scheduling to meet customer demand while controlling costs.
Foster engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through communication, problem-solving, and talent development.
Promote workplace safety, product quality, and operational performance by monitoring key metrics, identifying opportunities, and implementing sustainable improvements.
