This role is responsible for performing all daily audit functions for the front office and each outlet of the hotel. The auditor will review room and tax postings for accuracy, correct errors, and ensure all house charges are posted correctly. They will also be responsible for backing up the front office computer system and night audit program, and potentially rebuilding the front office system and performing other computer maintenance. The position requires understanding and following the management company's accounting and credit policies. Additionally, the auditor will handle all front desk functions, including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, and PBX operation, ensuring guests are treated promptly, warmly, courteously, and professionally, and are provided with accurate directions.
