Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.
- Leads, guides, and directs the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift, including ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
- Facilitates the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.
- Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting the use of overtime and agency personnel.
- Participates in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and makes recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
