About The Position
Park Terrace Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor. The role provides nursing care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, while building meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. The supervisor supports a comforting and engaging environment, teamwork, and coordinated resident care, and demonstrates the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
- Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being using nursing skills.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment.
- Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
