About The Position

Lakewood Reserve is looking for a fun, energetic, patient, and outgoing Memory Care Life Enrichment Assistant to join their team on weekends only. This role involves making Saturdays and Sundays engaging and meaningful for residents by leading various activities such as dance parties, arts and crafts, games, baking, outdoor activities, and sharing meaningful moments. The position is ideal for someone seeking a rewarding weekend job where they can make a difference in the lives of seniors.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends
• Experience working with seniors and understanding their unique needs
• Fun, friendly, patient, and outgoing personality
• Dependable and reliable
• Comfortable leading group activities and providing one-on-one engagement
• Creative, energetic, and willing to bring new ideas
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Comfortable working with residents living with dementia and memory loss
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, including tables and chairs
• Able to obtain/maintain a Food Handler's Permit

Nice To Haves

• Memory Care experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead games, trivia, and brain activities
• Host music, dancing, and sing-alongs
• Create fun arts and crafts projects
• Lead gentle exercise and movement activities
• Bake or cook with residents

• Create sensory and reminiscing activities
