About The Position

The Weekend Licensed Clinician assists in directing and coordinating assigned aspects of programming, ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures and timely completion of reporting requirements. The clinician helps supervise program staff by providing therapeutic guidance and assists the Clinical Director in coordinating and implementing the core program. The role is part-time and scheduled for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The position is based in a behavioral health campus that includes Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs), which provide psychosocial rehabilitation in secure residential settings with brief stays, and Psychiatric Health Facilities (PHFs), which support clients who need stabilization, medication management, behavioral interventions, psychotherapy, psychosocial education, and transition planning for return to the community.

Requirements

• Hold a license as an LCSW, MFT, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, including at least 1 year in a mental health setting.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-5.
• Be familiar with DMH Titles 9 and other governmental regulations.
• Have a valid California driver's license.

• Additional training is provided for Professional CEUs, including DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and WRAP.
