Weekend Lead Cleaner

About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable, experienced Lead to help ensure facility operations follow established policies and procedures. The Lead coordinates daily operations by assigning work and guiding team members, and provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent. The Shift Leader demonstrates established standards to keep facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial work as needed. This position is weekend-only, with a scheduled shift of 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The listed pay rate is $24 per hour. ABM describes the role as potentially suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

One year of customer service experience.
One year of lead or supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Complete any additional certifications or training required for the site type.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Provide leadership and direction to team members.
Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
Assist with preparing daily and weekly work schedules.
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
Take care of property keys and access cards.
Report damaged, broken, or nonfunctioning features and items.
Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
