About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities. The role supports the workplace’s appearance and sanitation and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The schedule is 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The posting describes this as a good job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Previous janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning experience is a plus. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
