URGENT HIRING - Weekend CNA / Caregiver Hoyer Lift Experience Required
About The Position
ComForCare is urgently hiring an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home senior care for a client in Wheaton, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate CNA with Hoyer Lift experience who is looking for a consistent weekend schedule while making a meaningful difference in a client's life. The schedule is Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role involves assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), safe transfers using a Hoyer Lift, meal preparation, light housekeeping, providing companionship, monitoring the client's condition, and maintaining accurate documentation according to the individualized care plan. Requirements
- Active CNA Certification required.
- Experience using a Hoyer Lift is required.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Auto Insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing in-home senior care, personal care, mobility assistance, or private duty caregiving preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one in-home care to a senior client.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Safely perform transfers using a Hoyer Lift and other mobility equipment as needed.
- Assist with repositioning, mobility support, and fall prevention.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence and dignity.
- Monitor the client's condition and report any changes to the care team.
- Follow the client's individualized care plan and maintain accurate documentation.
