About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is urgently hiring an experienced Caregiver to provide compassionate one-on-one in-home senior care for a client in Elmhurst, Illinois. This position is perfect for caregivers seeking consistent daytime hours with a stable schedule and the opportunity to build a strong relationship with one client. The role focuses on helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Requirements

Previous professional caregiving experience is required.
Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Valid Driver's License.
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification is NOT required. We welcome experienced caregivers with a strong background in home care, senior care, companion care, personal care, or private duty caregiving.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care in the client's home.
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence.
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
Assist with mobility, walking, and fall prevention.
Monitor changes in the client's condition and communicate updates with the care team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Follow the client's personalized care plan while maintaining accurate documentation.
