About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring weekend caregivers in Framingham and nearby towns to support seniors in their homes with short, flexible shifts. This role is perfect for individuals with weekday jobs, classes, or family commitments who want to make their weekends meaningful. Caregivers can choose to work Saturday, Sunday, or both, with flexible shift options including mornings, afternoons, or evenings. The shifts are designed to be short, allowing for flexibility in accumulating hours or earning extra income.
Requirements
- HHAs, CNAs, PCAs, Homemakers and companions.
- Reliable, kind, and able to follow a care plan.
- Willingness to be trained (for new caregivers).
Responsibilities
- Offer friendly companionship and conversation.
- Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and simple personal care.
- Prepare easy meals and snacks.
- Do light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run quick errands and provide medication reminders.
- Keep the home safe, comfortable, and calm through the weekend.
