Weekend Caregivers / CNAs – $18/hr | Flexible Shifts
About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring Weekend Caregivers and CNAs to provide quality care to seniors in their homes throughout the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area and surrounding communities. The role is focused on weekend coverage, with opportunities for additional weekday shifts depending on availability and client needs. Caregivers can choose a preferred service territory, including Scottsdale/Phoenix, Mesa/East Valley, or the West Valley. Weekend schedules may include Saturday, Sunday, or both, with daytime, evening, overnight, and extended shifts potentially available. Scheduling is flexible based on caregiver availability.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience, including professional or family caregiving.
- Weekend availability.
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification before starting.
- Compassionate and reliable, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and assistance with daily activities.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Provide compassionate care and support to seniors, including those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
