Weekend Caregivers - Franklin County, PA (Flexible shifts)
About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers to serve clients in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. The organization provides in-home care to seniors and emphasizes empathy, integrity, and dedication, with a supportive work environment and flexible, consistent scheduling. Caregivers may work with one or two consistent clients and help seniors remain safe and comfortable at home. Schedules may include flexible shifts, full-time or part-time hours, 2-hour, 8-hour, or 10+ hour shifts, weekdays, weekends, and potential live-in work. Live-in work has a separate pay range. The listed hourly rate is $17.00–$17.50, depending on experience and shift. Other compensation includes a $5 gas supplement for each shift, a $0.50-per-hour attendance incentive, mileage reimbursement when transporting clients, and holiday pay at time and a half.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
- At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is a plus.
- Family caregiving experience is accepted.
