About The Position

Senior Helpers Baltimore and Central Maryland is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers, CNAs, and GNAs who are consistently available to work Saturdays and Sundays. This role offers opportunities across Baltimore County, Howard County, and Baltimore City, with day, evening, and overnight assignments. The position is ideal for experienced caregivers looking to supplement weekday income or individuals starting a career in home care. Senior Helpers provides training, support, and encouragement for success. The agency is Maryland’s first and only CHAP Age-Friendly Care at Home Certified home care agency, emphasizing exceptional, evidence-based care.

Requirements

Availability to work both Saturdays and Sundays
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to pass all required background screenings
Current TB screening or willingness to obtain one
Comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, CNA, GNA, or home care experience preferred
CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain it

Responsibilities

Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
Helping with walking, transfers, and mobility
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
Performing light housekeeping and laundry
Providing medication reminders
Offering companionship and meaningful conversation
Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
Completing simple visit documentation
