About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced weekend caregiver to provide quality care for a client with dementia. The ideal candidate must be patient, understanding, and comfortable working in a home with dogs. This is a weekend-only position.
Requirements
- Experience caring for individuals with dementia preferred.
- Must be comfortable around dogs.
- Patient, dependable, compassionate, and attentive.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed.
- Provide compassionate care and supervision for a client with dementia.
- Offer gentle reminders, redirection, and reassurance.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
- Communicate any changes or concerns regarding the client's well-being.
