About The Position

Asbury Church is seeking a Weekday Teacher to plan and implement approved curriculum, manage a classroom with a teaching partner, and collaborate with other teachers. This role involves building relationships with students' families and connecting those without a church home to Asbury. The position is part-time, approximately 10-25 hours per week, for a 10-month period (August-May).

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Must fully support the vision and mission of Asbury Church
  • Must have a growing love relationship with Jesus
  • Must have a love and passion for preschool children in developing their spiritual, emotional, and intellectual development
  • Experience working with children in a teaching environment
  • Must possess interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have demonstrated leadership skills
  • Must possess basic computer and office skills needed for the day-to-day operation that Microsoft 365

  • College degree a plus

Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing Weekday approved curriculum
