About The Position

Asbury Kids Nursery Caregiver provides a caring environment for all children. This role involves supervising children’s activities, interacting with them through play, music, crafts, and books. The caregiver is responsible for the physical needs of the children, including diaper changes, restroom assistance, snack and nap times, and ensuring overall safety. Adherence to all policies and procedures is required, along with communicating any needs or concerns to the Lead Caregiver or Nursery Coordinator. This role also involves operating video/audio/Insync equipment, maintaining documentation, directing volunteers, performing housekeeping duties, and providing positive communication to parents regarding their child’s stay. Other duties may be assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Current student, High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience with Kids (including volunteering).
Growing Christian.
Caregiver experience.
Love for kids.
Know/willing to learn about characteristics about all ages and developmental milestones of children.
Dependable.
Ability to work well with others.
Friendly and Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Provide a caring environment for all children.
Supervise children’s activities, interacting with them using play, music, crafts, and books.
Care for the physical needs of the children, including diaper changes, assistance in restroom, snack time, nap time, and the overall safety of the children.
Adhere to all policy and procedures.
Communicate any needs or concerns to the Lead Caregiver or the Nursery Coordinator.
Operation video/audio/Insync equipment as directed by the Lead Caregiver or Nursery Coordinator.
Maintaining documentation of master roll sheets, diaper change/potty forms, and accident reports.
Direct volunteers assisting in classroom procedures.
Perform various housekeeping duties involved in maintaining the classrooms.
Provide positive communication to parents with any needed information concerning their child’s stay in the nursery.
Other duties as assigned by the Lead Caregiver or Nursery Coordinator.
