About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time caregiver for their classical and Catholic Nursery in Mechanicsburg, PA, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as all necessary training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and live the Catholic faith daily, including having received appropriate sacraments. The position involves working in a highly structured environment on Mondays and Thursdays between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm. Responsibilities include preparing for classes at home and implementing provided lesson plans according to RCA standards. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Clear background check.

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
• Experience in ministry in your Catholic parish.
• Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
