About The Position

A filmmaker representing American Wedding Group films structured, flowing wedding videos using professional DSLR or DSLR-hybrid equipment. Footage should be clean and conservatively shot, with in-camera editing so the video is ready to send to the customer immediately. Filmmakers work discreetly and unobtrusively while capturing the footage needed, serving as an observer who records details the clients may miss and gives them a lasting record of their wedding day.

Requirements

• A proven shooting track record, with samples demonstrating shooting style.
• Own high-quality DSLR or DSLR-hybrid equipment, including a backup camera, on-board lighting, wireless lavaliere, interview microphone, tripod, and slider and/or gimbal.
• Strong in-camera editing skills.
• Computer proficiency, particularly the ability to back up footage to an external hard drive before sending the original copy by digital download.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
