About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking an experienced hospitality leader for their General Manager in Training (GMIT) program. This program is designed for established leaders to master the Wedgewood venue management model over 6-12 months. Participants will gain hands-on experience in sales, event execution, culinary operations, and financial management, with support from experienced General Managers and centralized teams. The role involves training at a top-performing venue to gain a full understanding of the business model before leading their own property. Key responsibilities include overseeing venue departments, recruiting and developing teams, driving financial success through management of revenue, labor, and costs, executing high-volume events, championing company culture, and adapting to a dynamic schedule.

Requirements

Proven leader with experience managing people in hospitality, events, or a sales-driven environment
Energized by high-volume service and fast-paced operations
Results-oriented and skilled at motivating teams to achieve goals
A natural coach who leads through accountability and encouragement
Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills
Tech-savvy and comfortable using business software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Passionate about hospitality and eager to grow your career
Relocation flexibility after training OUTSIDE of Arizona is REQUIRED for this position
