About the Commission for Higher Education: Created in 1971, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE, Commission) is the State's higher education coordinating agency, driven to improve economic and social mobility for fellow Hoosiers through postsecondary education and training, and is a part of Governor Mike Braun's Office of Education. Role Overview: The Webmaster is responsible for the day-to-day management, performance, and continuous improvement of the websites and digital platforms for both the Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE) and the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE). This role ensures that all web properties are user-friendly, accessible, secure, technically reliable, and aligned with agency branding and communication priorities. The Webmaster collaborates closely with program teams, communications staff, IT staff, and external partners to maintain accurate, timely digital content that meets the needs of Indiana students, families, educators, institutions, and stakeholders.
