About The Position

Empower AI is seeking a Web Services Administrator for an exciting opportunity at the Department of State. The Web Services Administrator will be responsible for administering and maintaining web services hosted at all overseas locations that are used to host customer applications and reports. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of web operations that support the customer’s mission to provide IT services to DoS users enterprise wide. The customer currently utilizes various tools to support web service automation, maintenance, monitoring, and development tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor's in IT or related field
• Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

• Comp TIA Sec+ Certification
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing operation, maintenance, and support of web services.
• Manage Configuration Management and Change Control, patch management, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security certificate management and renewal.
• Update and manage backup, recovery, and DR procedures.
• Perform incident response and troubleshooting.
• Conduct capacity planning and scalability management.
• Document all configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Coordinate with overseas post personnel and relevant Government stakeholders.
