About The Position

The Web Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining web press equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role supports daily press operations, ensures product quality, and works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Requirements

Minimum of 2+ years of web press experience in a manufacturing or print environment
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read and interpret job tickets, safety rules, and operating procedures
Strong attention to detail with a focus on print and color quality
Basic computer skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Comfortable working in a production environment with noise, ink, and chemicals
Required use of PPE at all times

Nice To Haves

technical or vocational training preferred
familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus

Responsibilities

Operate assigned web press equipment to meet production and quality standards
Support daily press operations and assist with team coordination as needed
Review job specifications and prepare press for production runs
Monitor print quality throughout production including trims, alignment, folds, ink density, color accuracy, and clarity
Identify and correct quality issues in a timely manner to minimize waste and rework
Perform routine and basic maintenance on press equipment; escalate issues when needed
Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards or risks in the workplace
Accurately document production data, job details, and performance metrics
Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and customer service teams
Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
