About The Position
Responsible for the daily operation of web presses as directed by the press operator. Maintain cleanliness and operation of press. Coordinate with internal agencies for required materials: i.e. ink plate paper tape etc. Ensure accuracy of printed material coming from the press.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must display excellent work habits willingness to be a team player
- Minimum 3 years offset/web printing experience preferred
- Must be able to identify colors and imperfections
- Proven track record in waste reduction and profit improvement

Responsibilities
- Press Start-up Procedures
- Daily/Weekly Maintenance and Safety checks
- Machine operation to include: print unit setup, numbering unit setup, process unit setup, delivery unit setup and other operations necessary to complete print operator duties
- Quality inspections: before print, while printing and after
- Clean up and shut down procedures/End of shift activities
