About The Position

The Web Content Intern will be part of the Content & Community Engagement team and will support the launch and optimization of a large-scale website project. This role involves collaborating with various teams, migrating and organizing content, developing new content, researching AI tools for content development, and performing quality assurance checks on web pages. The intern will also participate in brainstorming and project planning sessions.

Requirements

  • Completed at least two (2) years of college with a concentration in Web Development & Multimedia; or Communications.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze written materials.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with web content management systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with web, design, communications and content teams to support the launch and optimization of a large-scale website project.
  • Assist with migrating and organizing existing website content.
  • Assist with the development and organization of new website content using established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Research and strategize ways to use AI tools to improve the web content development process.
  • Review web pages for quality assurance, including proofreading, link testing, formatting consistency and accessibility consideration.
  • Participate in brainstorming and project planning sessions and contribute ideas for improving content presentation and audience engagement.
