Web Business Analyst III

About The Position

This role involves collaborating with various teams including developers, project managers, quality assurance, business teams, and technical support to provide business and technical direction on systems, design, development, testing, and deployment. The Web Business Analyst III will meet with Company Executives to understand strategy, tactical approaches, priorities, requirements, and business processes. Key responsibilities include documenting business requirements, potentially developing and overseeing project plans, coordinating the development of technical specifications, and enforcing change control procedures. The role requires initiative in engaging with users at all levels, developing and maintaining project schedules, and establishing clear communication with all stakeholders. A strong understanding of Mouser's business is expected, along with contributing to the knowledge library and mentoring associates. The position also involves representing the company professionally and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, program analyst, product manager or equivalent position required.
  • 4+ years with ecommerce environments (B2B required).
  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proven experience with problem solving and solution development.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with agile release train/scrum teams to deliver solutions.
  • Proven experience in producing documentation including, requirements documents, flowcharts, wireframes, and other process diagrams.
  • Proven ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Mockup creation and prototyping using HTML is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, Project managers, quality assurance, business teams and technical support to provide a mix of business and technical direction on systems, design, development, testing and deployment.
  • Meet with Company Executives to learn strategy, tactical approaches, priorities, requirements, and business process.
  • Document business requirements, may develop and oversee project plans, oversee and coordinate the development of technical specifications, and help enforce change control procedures.
  • Take initiative to spend time with all levels of users (formal meetings, informal meetings, observing work, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain all Project Documentation for all assigned projects.
  • Ensure an increased level of code reuse and contribute to the growth and use of the knowledge library.
  • Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment.
  • Represents the company and Internet Business in a professional manner.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Utilize organizational skills to document, categorize, prioritize, provide easy access to information, ask questions, follow up, and maintain communications.
  • Explore stakeholder/market needs, segmentation, sizing, and competitive landscape to achieve desirable, feasible, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Drive successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Document business needs, user requirements and agile feature acceptance criteria.
  • Mentor peers in learning and building proficiency in Mouser, Internet Business, and stakeholder analysis and communication skills.
