The Web Application Developer Intern supports the Enterprise Systems Team with developing, maintaining, testing, and enhancing internal web applications. Working with experienced developers and Enterprise Systems personnel in an Agile Scrum environment, the intern completes assigned development tasks, helps resolve application issues, and contributes to secure and efficient enterprise solutions. The internship provides hands-on experience in enterprise web application development, database integration, application security, source control, testing, documentation, and production support, with structured assignments, technical guidance, code review feedback, and opportunities to contribute to active sprints and internal technology initiatives. This is a 180-day internship with performance checkpoints at 30, 60, and 90 days. A formal evaluation at 90 days determines whether the internship continues through the remainder of its cycle. Continuation, extension, or consideration for future employment depends on performance, business needs, and management approvals; participation does not guarantee continued or future employment. The intern works under Enterprise Systems management oversight and receives day-to-day guidance, assignments, and code review feedback from an assigned technical mentor or developer lead. The role is in office Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 0700–1600 with lunch or 0730–1530 without lunch. Occasional travel may be expected for meetings, training, or site visits.
