About The Position

QVine, an SAIC company, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Application Developer to build modern, scalable web applications with AI-driven features. The role combines front-end development using ReactJS with Python backend development and the design and integration of LLM-powered applications using LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.

The developer will build and maintain responsive web interfaces and scalable backend services; create APIs connecting front ends, backend services, and third-party LLM providers; develop conversational agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and multi-step agentic workflows; and contribute to CI/CD and cloud deployment. The role also involves maintaining availability, security, and cost efficiency in AWS and/or Azure environments and collaborating with the cybersecurity team on secure development and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 9 or more years of experience; master’s degree and 7 or more years of experience; or PhD or JD and 4 or more years of experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Proven experience building production web applications with ReactJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing backend services and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith, or comparable LLM orchestration and observability frameworks.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment on AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of secure development practices and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using ReactJS, including state management, component architecture, and integration with RESTful and streaming APIs.
• Develop and maintain scalable Python backend services with clean APIs supporting front-end and AI-driven functionality.
• Design, implement, and optimize AI-powered features using LangChain and LangGraph, including conversational agents, RAG pipelines, and multi-step agentic workflows.
• Build and maintain well-documented APIs connecting front-end applications with backend services and third-party LLM providers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, testing, and release cycles for web applications.
• Deploy and maintain web applications and backend services in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to apply secure development practices, including secrets management, secure API design, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
