The Weatherization Program Manager has a leadership role in program planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Weatherization Program and other activities, as directed and/or authorized by the Chief Operating Officer. This role provides general program management and supervision for the Weatherization Program and its staff/contractors. The manager also serves as an Auditor/Estimator/Inspector for the program throughout the designated service area, performing routine and technical tests on homes. A key responsibility is serving as the agency’s liaison with contractors, overseeing their work for compliance with program regulations and standards, and implementing production schedules. The role ensures all assignments comply with applicable program, state, and federal requirements, and involves conducting home visits and inspections. Management of required records, adherence to program record keeping, and ensuring compliance with deadlines, reporting, and monitoring are crucial. The manager assists with approved program budgets and is responsible for preparing and issuing regular reports to various agencies and/or funding sources. They ensure program staff/contractors adhere to guidelines and reporting requirements, and actively participate as a member of the management team. The role also involves marketing and promoting agency programs, attending meetings and training sessions, and maintaining required certifications. Support for the agency’s mission, vision, values, and goals is expected. Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties.
