The Weatherization Program Manager has a leadership role in program planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Weatherization Program and other activities, as directed and/or authorized by the Chief Operating Officer. This role provides general program management and supervision for the Weatherization Program and program staff/contractors. The manager also serves as an Auditor/Estimator/Inspector for the Weatherization Program throughout the designated service area, performing routine and technical tests/measures/calculations on homes selected for services. They act as the agency’s liaison with contractors, overseeing and inspecting their work for compliance with program regulations and standards, and implementing production schedules. The position ensures all assignments comply with applicable program, state, and federal requirements, regulations, and protocols, and oversees home visits and inspections. Record management, adherence to program filing procedures, and ensuring compliance with all program requirements, including deadlines, reporting, monitoring, and reviews are key. The manager assists with and adheres to approved program budgets and is responsible for preparing and issuing regular reports on program activities to various agencies and/or funding sources. They ensure program staff/contractors adhere to program guidelines and reporting requirements, and actively participate as a member of LHDC’s Management team. Marketing and promotion of LHDC programs, attending meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions, and maintaining required certifications are also part of the role. The position supports and promotes the agency’s mission, vision, values, and goals, including the agency’s Strategic Plan.
