About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Advanced Hypersonic Weapons & Guided Munitions Division (E20) to support software development of Naval gun weapons systems in Dahlgren, VA. The Software Engineer will develop and design data analysis scripts in MATLAB or Python, as well as methods and tools to review and analyze data from various testing efforts. Job responsibilities will include designing and developing analysis material, root cause analysis, analyzing data as well and preparing visual reports to include two- and three-dimensional plots, and presenting the findings of the analysis to help in proving system methods, capabilities and readiness of the system. There will also be opportunities to expand this role to include testing and operation of distributed systems during internal Verification and Validation sprints and/or field testing.
