The securities-licensed Wealth Relationship Officer provides sales and relationship support to registered securities representatives and Wealth Relationship Managers (WRMs), including entering trade orders at a registered representative’s direction. The role requires an understanding of brokerage and banking products, trading operations, and brokerage services. It is part of the client relationship team and supports both banking and wealth service activities, helping WRMs spend more time on client-facing work and on acquiring, cross-selling, retaining, and growing their portfolios. The WRM owns the client relationship; the Officer supports the banking portions of assigned portfolios and serves as a client contact when the WRM is unavailable, helping clients reach appropriate channels. The position is not expected to provide securities recommendations. The Officer provides day-to-day client service, assists with transactional enquiries, supports sales documentation and related processes, and helps maintain ongoing client relationships through effective communication and service. The job requires Series 7 and 63 licenses and Life and Health insurance licenses, as well as registration or approval for registration in the relevant states. HSBC states that it does not provide immigration sponsorship for this position; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
