WBG Pioneers, the World Bank Group’s Internship Program, offers undergraduate and postgraduate students a high impact learning experience at the heart of global development. Participants gain hands on experience in a diverse and dynamic environment, contribute fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, and connect with international professionals working to end poverty on a livable planet. The World Bank Group (WBG) is one of the largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries. With 189 member countries and more than 120 offices worldwide, WBG works with public and private sector partners to develop solutions to urgent global development challenges. This internship is offered under the ONE World Bank Group Corporate Internship Program – WBG Pioneers, a unified corporate framework designed to provide a consistent and structured internship experience across the WBG. The intern will be based in the Department for Outcomes, housed within the Office of the Managing Director and Chief Knowledge Officer. The Department for Outcomes strengthens outcome orientation across the WBG by supporting approaches to development impact measurement, coordinating outcome targets, and monitoring outcomes across cross-cutting themes such as jobs, climate, youth, private capital mobilization, and gender. The department also convenes internal and external stakeholders on outcome metrics and capacity building, and serves as secretariat to external advisory groups including the Jobs Council.
