About The Position

European Wax Center is seeking a Waxer - Esthetician to provide waxing and related services and create a welcoming guest experience. The role includes performing precise wax treatments, educating guests about services and products, promoting Wax Passes and current promotions, and helping drive sales through referrals and pre-bookings. Waxers personalize interactions, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and follow procedures and contraindications to support guest safety. The position is based in a fast-paced, predominantly indoor environment and requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• State Esthetician or Cosmetologist license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Positive, outgoing, and personable disposition.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Consistent attendance and dedication to reliability.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Regularly stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
• Regularly use upper extremities to type, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on the 4 Step to Gorgeous Process™ and the benefits of the center’s services.
• Demonstrate the Strut 365™ product portfolio.
• Promote Wax Passes, their value and savings, and consistent waxing.
• Inform guests about current in-center promotions and drive sales through referrals and pre-bookings.
• Collaborate with the team to exceed sales goals and participate in community events and outreach to increase brand awareness.
• Perform precise waxing services while ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
• Personalize guest experiences using EWC terminology and tailoring interactions to individual preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the wax suite and throughout the center.
• Stay informed about procedures and contraindications to prioritize guest safety and well-being.
