Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Wax Injector position is accountable for shooting dies to meet cell production needs. This role is responsible for the quality of the patterns shot, ensuring parameters are set correctly in the machine, and for showing the supervisor the first pattern shot on each setup. The Wax Injector must be able to get tooling from shelves and set it up on the machine, read the Quality Book and P.M.S. sheets for each job, and ensure tooling is put away correctly with storage bolts. They are also responsible for keeping the machine and tooling clean and maintaining organization. While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE and following basic safety precautions. It involves light to moderate physical activity, including walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods, and some lifting.
