Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Wax Injector position is accountable for shooting dies to meet cell production needs. This role is responsible for the quality of the patterns shot, ensuring the first pattern shot on each setup is shown to the supervisor, and managing the parameters set in the machine. The Wax Injector must be able to retrieve tooling from shelves and set it up on the machine, read the Quality Book and P.M.S. sheets for each job, and ensure tooling is put away correctly with storage bolts. If a tool lacks a storage hole, the tooling must have one put in. This position also requires keeping the machine and tooling clean and maintaining organization within the work area.
