About The Position

Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Wax Injector position is accountable for meeting cell production needs. This role involves shooting dies, ensuring the quality of patterns, and managing machine parameters. The position requires the ability to set up tooling on the machine, read quality documentation, and properly store tooling. Maintaining cleanliness of the machine and tooling is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Previous injection molding machine experience
  • Ability to effectively work AND communicate as part of a cell team

Responsibilities

  • Shooting dies
  • Meeting cell production needs
  • Ensuring quality of the patterns shot
  • Showing the supervisor the first pattern shot on each setup
  • Responsible for parameters set in machine
  • Able to get tooling from shelves and set up on the machine
  • Able to read the Quality Book, and P.M.S. sheets for each job
  • Ensuring tooling is put away with a storage bolt or bolts
  • If there is not a storage hole in tool, tooling must put one in
  • Keeping the machine and tooling clean
