Wax Injector - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Wax Injector Operator is responsible for efficiently completing all operations and operating equipment to produce wax pattern products. This includes maintaining wax and soluble melting pots, cleaning plugs, ensuring quality of patterns, solubles, gating, sprues, and sub-assemblies, and keeping dies clean and properly stored. The operator must meet efficiency standards, maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, follow all procedures and safety rules, and comply with applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Other duties may be assigned by supervision.
Requirements
- Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required)
- Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required)
- Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required)
Responsibilities
- Complete all operations and operate the equipment efficiently when making wax pattern product
- Keep wax and soluble melting pots filled at all times
- Clean plugs
- Maintain quality on all patterns, solubles, gating, sprues, and sub-assemblies
- Keep all dies clean after completing each job and stored in proper area
- Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards
- Keep the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition
- Follow procedures and all safety rules
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision
