About The Position

The Wave Planning Assistant supports HSN by coordinating outbound order waves to help fulfillment operations run smoothly. This onsite role is based at QVC Group’s Piney Flats, Tennessee facility and reports to the Outbound Area Manager. The schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, 12:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Relocation assistance is not offered. The role releases and manages outbound order waves, monitors progress and communicates priorities, adjusts wave parameters to maintain efficient workflows, troubleshoots issues, and supports cross-functional partners in accurately processing customer orders.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment.
Working knowledge of WMS systems and basic computer applications, including spreadsheets and reporting tools.
Ability to perform complex spreadsheet functions and maintain complex spreadsheets.
Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Release and manage outbound order waves to support daily production goals across picking, staging, automation, and packing areas.
Monitor wave progress and communicate status updates, aged tasks, and priorities to operational teams.
Adjust wave parameters based on labor availability, inventory, and operational needs to maintain workflow efficiency.
Troubleshoot workflow issues and escalate or resolve problems to keep orders moving.
Support cross-functional partners to ensure accurate processing of customer orders.
