About The Position

A Wave Planner builds and releases orders using internal operating systems to coordinate and distribute daily workflow by priority, and deploys resources effectively to achieve company goals. The position works Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM and pays $22–$28.50 per hour. Mandatory extra hours may be required, including weekends.

Requirements

• Knowledge of internal operating systems, including Microsoft Office and a Warehouse Management System.
• Ability to read and write, and sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantities, label information, and SKU information.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities or job duties as business needs require.
• Ability to understand and respond quickly to inquiries by phone or email.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with internal operating systems and Microsoft Office to perform job functions.
• Exemplary performance in attendance, accuracy, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Use internal operating systems to build and release orders for processing.
• Understand internal processing schedules and accurately estimate job completion times.
• Communicate daily with leadership and coworkers to support efficient workflow through the department.
• Complete tasks efficiently while working independently and with minimal supervision.
• Use Hi-Jump reporting to build pallets efficiently, release orders, and prioritize restocking.
• Check out equipment and return it in the same condition.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area by following SanMar safety regulations.
