About The Position

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering, and construction firm is seeking a Waterproofing Consultant/PM to help expand its service offerings in roofing, waterproofing, building envelope design, and construction management. The position is based at either the Palo Alto or Oakland, California office.

The role manages roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope repair and reconstruction projects from planning and design through completion. It also includes construction administration and field oversight, coordinating with project stakeholders, developing project scopes and documentation, and providing technical expertise. Projects may involve apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings, and government buildings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in construction and/or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Manage roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope repair and reconstruction projects from planning and design through completion.
• Provide construction administration and field oversight, including site visits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project closeout.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Develop repair scopes, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Provide technical expertise on roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems and construction methods.
• Manage multiple projects involving apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings, and government buildings.
