About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance that supports ride upkeep and inspections, repairs, cost objectives, guest satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation. The technician helps ensure attractions and facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational, promptly addressing maintenance issues to support a safe work environment and smooth operations. The role assists the Maintenance Supervisor and contributes to the resort’s commitment to delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

Requirements

Knowledge of waterpark maintenance and its day-to-day functions within a resort is helpful.
Knowledge of air conditioning and heating systems, plumbing, building maintenance, and facility maintenance is preferred.
Knowledge of leisure activities or commercial recreation in a for-profit setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring waterpark rides are inspected daily, weekly, and monthly.
Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspections and by following ride manufacturers’ preventive maintenance programs.
Understand and comply with federal, state, county, and municipal regulations concerning ride safety, inspections, and annual inspections with authorities.
Maintain the waterpark to minimize guest inconvenience caused by repairs.
Maintain the cleanliness of indoor and outdoor waterpark pools.
