In this position, you’ll drive all beverage sales. Other activities will include training, inventory management, labor management, and ordering. Expect to lend a hand on busy days. You will report to the Resort’s Beverage Director and occasionally partner with our Corporate Beverage Director or property Food and Beverage Director. This position does not develop beverage menus but oversees about 50% of the total beverage revenue on the property. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction, efficient operations, and revenue generation across beverage outlets and cabana services within a waterpark.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of supervisory or management experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or waterpark operations.
  • At least 1-2 years of prior experience in high-volume, guest-facing environments (e.g., resorts, theme parks, hotels, or waterparks).
  • Experience managing both alcohol service and VIP/premium services (like cabanas & premium seating) is highly valued.
  • Responsible Alcohol Service Certification (e.g., TIPS, SERV Safe Alcohol) – required or must be obtained upon hire.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in fast-paced, outdoor environments.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, cash handling, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily beverage and cabana services in the waterpark, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Ensure high-quality, friendly service to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve any service issues.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff; provide coaching and maintain strong team morale.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, track sales, and ensure accurate cash handling.
  • Enforce health, alcohol, and safety regulations; maintain cleanliness and equipment standards.
