About The Position

The Driller performs routine drilling, sampling, and water well installation tasks, including leading a drilling crew. The role also performs routine mechanical work needed to keep equipment operating. Responsibilities include mobilizing equipment to project sites, documenting drilling tasks, training helpers, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience.
• Mechanical and welding aptitude.
• Willingness to travel overnight and work outdoors.
• Ability to operate drilling-related equipment, including a backhoe and forklift.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement standard operating procedures.
• Ability to direct oneself and 1 to 2 others.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a clean driving record and be willing and able to attain a CDL.
• Meet the described physical demands, including frequently lifting or moving up to 70 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Three to five years of experience preferred.
• Mud School certification preferred.
• State Drillers License preferred.
• Welding certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and mobilize equipment to project sites.
• Perform and document drilling project tasks.
• Lead the drilling crew and help train new helpers.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures and other duties as required.
• Comply with and support corporate safety initiatives to maintain a safe work environment.
• Abide by the Company’s Code of Conduct.
