About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Water / Wastewater Inspector to inspect and report on water distribution, sanitary sewer, and pump station projects. The inspector acts on behalf of the Owner to review contractors’ construction work and plans and performs testing, inspection, monitoring, and reporting full-time on site. The role may involve daily or nightly inspection of sanitary sewer and water main projects, as well as maintaining complete and accurate project activity records and documenting property damage or personal injury accidents on site. This position is part of Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure team, which plans, designs, builds, and modernizes infrastructure intended to connect and protect communities. The advertised salary range is $26.59–$46.54. Requirements

Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or construction-related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of related experience on field projects.
A formal certification from an independent organization may be required depending on the type of inspection assignment.
Valid driver’s license and transportation available for work.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, E-Builder (Trimble Unity Construct), and Proliance.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect sanitary sewer and water main projects daily and/or nightly.
