About The Position

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. Maintaining water quality is Olsson’s number one concern, and we are able to respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Nebraska Water/Wastewater Leader will be responsible for the overall performance, leadership, and management of the water/wastewater staff they supervise. This includes collaborating with the market, sector, discipline, and geography leads on short and long-term strategic planning, annual business planning, on-going business development and client development, team member recruiting and retention, team member professional development, consistently meeting company high-performance expectations for utilization and financial performance, and overall project production/quality. The Water/Wastewater Leader may also manage multiple projects and/or assist the project team with project management duties and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the consulting industry.
  • At least 4 years of experience supervising others.
  • Established background in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Daily management and leadership.
